Mr. Braithwaite is currently a partner in Insured Retirement Investments, LLC, an independent consultant and board member. He enjoyed a 40 year career in the financial services industry, leading several large wealth management banks. He served as Vice Chair & CEO of UBS Bank USA, Chairman & CEO of Merrill Lynch Bank USA and President, CEO and Chief Investment Officer for Merrill Lynch Bank & Trust. He also ran Bank of America’s Global Wealth Management Deposits business as Managing Director, Deposits Executive and was a co-inventor of Merrill Lynch’s sweep deposit product. Mr. Braithwaite has diverse banking and wealth management expertise including deposits, lending, investments, asset/liability management, regulatory relations, liquidity, risk management, retirement and treasury management. He earned several awards for innovation in asset/liability management, cash management and treasury management. Mr. Braithwaite also has served in leadership roles on many boards and board committees (audit, risk, credit, compensation and investment committees).
